4hhshr ((CALCITE)),  $10 MINIMUM BID, Ophir Hill Mine, Ophir District, Tooele County, Utah, 10 x 6 x 4 cm

Here is a fine undamaged specimen of fluorescent Calcite from the Ophir Hill Mine which is the location for the Scheelite specimens. Calcites are usually damaged and removed with etching to expose the Scheelite. This is an unusually specimen in that only a few Calcite crystals are present on a Quartz druze. Most specimens are completely covered with heavily damaged Calcite.
