 | ex George Whitehead collection, Very fine miniature with lustrous Pyrite, cream colored Ankerite crystals, and a row of fine Chalcopyrite crystals. These look like and were labeled as Sphalerite. Closer inspection shows they are indeed Chalcopyrite. Identification easy with a loop viewing the small rubs or nicks on the crystals high spots. Fine Chalcopyrites from a different Colorado location. |
