21hhdw.g  ((DOLOMITE, QUARTZ, CHALCOPYRITE, SCHEELITE, GALENA)), FLUORESCENT  $30 MINIMUM BID,  Ophir Hill Mine, Ophir District, Tooele County, Utah,  10 x 6 x 3 cm,  Cabinet,




A combination of white Dolomite and Quartz with Chalcopyrite.  Using a UVSW light to see the bright white Fluorescent crystals of Scheelite, the crystals are visable around the near the edge of the specimen.  There are also several small metallic lustrous flat spinel twinned Galena crystals about 5 MM across.   Galena specimens from Ophir Hill Mine area rarely seen.  This is the first that I have seen.  Listed as a species present at Ophir but not photos on mindat. If Dana seen these, he may have made micros out of the specimen.  ex Dana Wilson MD collection #430.
