_small.jpg) | Terminated Quartz and was part of a cluster of these long but stout Quartz crystals that I have seen that occured in Park City, Utah. It is from a Utah collector and Utah locality would be very possible. But no label. Daly West Mine in Park City had same Quartz crystal shape with Amethyst phantoms half way down the crystals. An example is pictured in mindat. This crystal has contacts on the faces at the bottom half of each face showing it was part of a similar cluster of terminated Quartz crystals. My guess is Park City, Utah specimen. ex Dana Wilson MD collection. |
