510-9ldoiss ((KUNZITE)), $25 MINIMUM BID, Urucum, Mine, Galileia, Minas Gerais, Brazil, 8 x 2.7 x .7 cm, Cabinet | |
These Urucum Kunzites came out perhaps 10 years ago. They have great color looking down the C axis, are naturally etched, and totally gemmy. This is a floater and has two natural fractures which at first appear like repairs. But these are natural and the natural etching processes etched into these fractures. They also seem to be fused and are solid and not glued or repaired. |
