 | Here is a large specimen of Sphalerite with contact on the back and Sphalerite crystals on the front side. The Sphalerite crystals are also with terminated Quartz crystals. Then the entire specimen is covered with a tannish cream colored Smithsonite layer totally covering the back and highlighting the Quartz crystals on the front leaving some of the dark Sphalerite contrasting with the light Smithsonite. Then finally on the front, back, and sides are numberous spherical clusters of light purple creedite crystals. These came out in 1999 with only a small number of specimens being available for sale. |
