6hhmcir ((TOPAZ)), repaired, $10 MINIMUM BID, Thomas Range, Juab County, Utah, 3.2 x 1.2 x 1 cm. Thumbnail | |
Here is a terminated sherry colored Topaz that looks like its been repaired from Topaz Mountain in Utah. These have a good color and are larger than average. They were collected years and years ago. They came from the collection of Mel Cannon, Chemistry Department Head at Utah State University in Logan, Utah. The crystal has some Rhyolite inclusions. It also has an unusual pencil point termination. ex Mel Cannon collection. NOTE: The color does fade in sunlight. Regular inside light bulbs reportedly do not cause fading. |
