5hhjh.rs ((TOPAZ)), $45 MINIMUM BID, Maynard's Claim, Thomas Range, Utah, 4.5 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm, Miniature

Most of the Topaz Mountain included Topaz are included by sand which makes irregular and rough faces and an overall unattractive specimen. Some included Topaz, like this one have grayish white fine partical inclusions and the lustrous Topaz faces are retained making them interesting and attractive specimens. Most of these are also large crystals compared with most of the the gemmy sherry colored crystals. Most are also in clusters with side Topaz crystals. This specimen has a large terminated main crystal with an array of side Topaz crystals with some having etched terminations. This may have been a double terminated even larger main crystal since the base is flat and a cleaved surface. It was probably found in a pocket without the other terminated end or the other end was not recognized as part of this specimen and became another specimen on its own. With the flat non terminated cleaved crystal end, it makes it able to stand upright on its own.
