6hlkmnr ((GALENA, CERUSSITE, SPHALERITE)), $25 MINIMUM BID, New S. W. Chester County Mine, Phoenixville, Chester County, Pennsylvania, 9.5 x 7.5 x 5.5 cm, Cabinet | |
Here is a cabinet sized Phoenixville specimen. It has massive cleaved stepped lustrous Galena and also brown waxy lustrous Sphalerite. I am not sure on the white opaque box work mineral but there is also typical colorless blades of Cerussite Within the large vug areas of the opaque white. Maybe the white is altered Cerussite. |
