Terminated lustrous Vivianite that appears to be almost black but it is actually transparent with a light blue green tint. The photos show the transparency when light is allowed to pass thru the crystal. It is on a matrix of dark brown Siderite druse. Nice Vivianite without being 4 figures. Vivianites tend to darken when in the light over extended periods. This one must have been keep in a covered box to be transparent. Dana Willson collection.
