_small.jpg) | Colorful specimen of Orpiment from Getchell. This specimen was a large cabinet sized boulder of weathered Orpiment on the outside. It was cracked open to expose the fresh surface on the front and top exposes the bright Orpiment with minor Calcite and grey matrix. It was probably collected by Dana on a club field trip to Getcell in the late 1980's. ex Dana Wilson MD collection. |
