Here is a Philadelphia Academy of Natural Sciences specimen with the early collection number of #7973.  It was in the Atkinson collection per the academy label but also has another old label torn in half that is an original George F Kunz label, a label style shown in the Mindat label archives.  Kunz, 1856-1932, was Americas first prominent early gem expert.  The mineral Kunzite was named after him.  http://www.mineralogicalrecord.com/labels.asp?colid=487
