 | Here is a great specimen with flattened rhombs of Calcite. Looks completely undamaged but with an optivisor there is some minor edge chipping on some edges. Still in great shape for a large Calcite. On the back side and on the matrix between the large Calcite crystals is a thin coating of Palygorskite aka Mountain Leather. Palygorskite is a strange species looking like chamois or spider webs. ex Gil Griffin collection. |
