Here is an uncommon, for its size, specimen of opaque Smoky Quartz with many black lustrous large Brookite crystals, 50 or more to 8 MM. Some Brookite crystals are iridescent. For its size, it is in great shape. This was the largest specimen in many hundreds of specimens of Brookite on Smoky Quartz, ex Clyde Hardin collection
