 | Here is a different Utah Topaz specimen. A Utah collector collected this and traded it to me. The oddity is that the Topaz are surrounded by a white mineral which fractures easily. I have never seen this type of matrix on Utah Topaz specimens. Usually the Topaz grows directly on the grey rhyolite. |
