A pair of undamaged lustrous Almandine Garnets in a nodule. The matrix is chipped away from the two sides containing Almandine crystals. The matrix amazingly came off cleanly from the Almandine crystals. I am sure this does not happen in most cases. ex Glenn Davidson collection. ex H Deisinger collection.
