8lhmrir ((CORUNDUM variety SAPPHIRE)), $20 MINIMUM BID, Mt Edna area, San Jacinto Peak, San Jacinto Range, Riverside County, California, 12 x 2 x 1.5 cm, Cabinet | |
Here is a long Sapphire crystal. These must be removed from matrix and are always repaired as this one is. There are 5 sections glued together. It is also not terminated. With all the work involved terminated repair specimens are very expensive in the mid to upper three figures or even four figures. This is the only one I have and is a good opportunity to get an inexpensive example of this classic Sapphire from California. |
