 | Here are 5 miniatures of the rare species Barahonaite-Al. 3 are average, 1 is good, 1 is excellent. Collected just prior to Gold Hill under ground entrances being sealed and just prior to the new mineral being announced. Although its existance as an unknown has been known for many years. The work on getting it described from Utah went through delays for years. Spain's type locality for Barahonaite Fe also found Barahonaite Al and began work on getting it described I believe well after Utah but did a more efficient job on getting it completed and so got the type locality for both Fe and Al. |
