 | One of Ernie Schlichter pieces, it is black lustrous, opaque, undamaged, and edges are rounded like the Canadian Apatites. It is opaque but does not look like the standard Schorl crystal form or luster. My first guess was a New York Uvite but I do not see alot to compare it to at mindat.org. Just need to recognize what it is and its locality. ex Ernie Schlichter collection. |
