Mound of Gypsum with terminated protruding sharp crystals growing on rabbit brush lying under the water of the Great Salt Lake. On the surface of the Gypsum are cubic crystals of Halite ie Salt. Originally the locality was Great Salt Lake but the county was given as Tooele County by the collectors to protect the finds real location. The real county was Box Elder County which is the northern part of the Great Salt Lake instead of the southern part which is Tooele County. ex John Holfert specimen.
