 | Here is an unusual and uncommon location for Fluorite specimens. Here is a purple and green Fluorite from New Hampshire with crystals to 4.3 cm. It has a coating that appears to be a thin layer of quartz over the crystals. I was going to see if it could be removed with HF by someone with the proper equipment to safely use HF but have not got to it, so here it is as naturally found.
