misci MINOR AUTUNITE and MINOR KYZYLKUMITE, $1 MINIMUM BID, Grant County, New Mexico, 13 x 13 x 6 cm, cabinet




Here is a reference specimen. Kyzylkumite is a rare black mineral, V2Ti3O9. I guess these are the non crystalline dark or black areas of the specimen. With a UV Light you can see the Autunite which a small amount of crystals in a large circular pattern on the perimeter of the other yellow crystals which were not identified with the label. The majority is the other yellow crystals which are not fluorescent or only weakly so.
