_small.jpg) | Small 8 MM Red Beryl. Under the loop it looks like it may have been coated with something. It looks artifical shiny rather than natural luster. May have been glued back, but hard to tell. Probably put in original place since why put the crystal on matrix with the rhyolite showing if not the natural position. Faces look natural gemmy but shiny with good dark color. ex U of U Geology Dept. collection. |
