21hhco.is ((CALCITE on FOSSIL CLAM)), $65 MINIMUM BID, Rucks Pit, Fr Drum, Okeechobee County, Florida, 9 x 7 x 4.5 cm, Cabinet

Merceneria permagna clam species from the Thompson Formation, Pleistocene 2myo. Complete claims with both valves attached are uncommon with most specimens consisting of clam shell pieces. There is some missing shell at the one point as seen but this specimen has an area at the bivalve hinge area with lustrous terminated crystals of yellow Calcite.
